Sunderland get set to host Swansea City this weekend as Mike Dodds takes interim charge for the second time this season.

It's all change once again at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland prepare to face Swansea after the club made the decision to part company with head coach Michael Beale earlier this week.

Beale was in charge of just 12 games in all competitions over a nine week period as Sunderland's season has stagnated with the Black Cats now seven points adrift of a play-off place ahead of the Swans' visit this weekend.

The South Wales club have also found themselves in a period of transition of late after they parted ways with former Barnsley boss Michael Duff in December before appointing Notts County manager Luke Williams early in the new year. The Swans find themselves glancing over their shoulders in the Championship table with Williams' side just four points above the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Wearside.

The similarities between the two clubs, in that sense, are quite striking as both look to recapture past form.

And to look ahead to this weekend's meeting at the Stadium of Light, We Are Sunderland's Matty Hewitt and Joe Ramage are joined by Luke Davies from the Swans Cast Podcast (@SwansCastMedia) to discuss all things Sunderland and Swansea.
