If you ever needed a reason to vote, this is it. A free pint at the end.

Shocking really, isn't it? That Brits have to be encouraged in such a way. But I digress, BrewDog is giving away free pints to anyone who votes today.

To get your free drink, you just need to take a selfie outside your local Polling Station and then show this picture to BrewDog bar staff.

BrewDog has around 70 bars across the UK and you can find your nearest venue by checking its website.

You can only redeem this offer at an official BrewDog bar and the only venues that aren’t included are Edinburgh Airport, Waterloo Arms and Gatwick Airport.

Once you show your selfie, you’ll be entitled to a free pint of Punk IPA or Punk AF.

If your selfie also includes a dog, then BrewDog says you can also redeem a “dog pint” or dog treat for your four-legged friend.

A message on the BrewDog website reads: “In life and in General Elections, we don’t always agree. There are winners and losers, but it’s important to cast your vote and make your voice heard.

“After running Vote Punk in 2017 and 2019, we’re toasting voters by giving out pints for everyone who heads to the polls. Meet up with your mates. Argue about politics. Settle your differences over a free pint.”

If you do take advantage, remember to drink responsibly and be DrinkAware.

General Election 2024

British voters are picking a new government today (Thursday, 4 July) in a parliamentary election that is widely expected to bring the Labour Party to power.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer looks set to win a landslide majority, besting even the efforts of the Blair government in 1997.

The exit poll for this year’s General Election will be published just after polling stations close later today, Thursday July 4, at 10pm.
