Sunderland were beaten 1-0 at the Stadium of Light by Hull City on Friday night as supporters began venting their frustrations towards head coach Michael Beale.

Fabio Carvalho's deflected strike was enough to condemn Beale to a fourth defeat in seven games across all competitions since taking over on Wearside with the Black Cats finishing the weekend 10th in the Championship table.

The defeat to Hull was compounded by sections of the home support sharing their frustration towards Beale with chants for the head coach to leave his post.
